Zenit kicked out Bosco from Nevsky - Top news - Mass Media - Fashioner

Boutique «Boscow Sport» is leaving the space on the conjunction of Nevsky and Malaya Sadovaya. Costumes of olympic team are not that popular as they used to, and the rent rates are too high. According to Fontanka, the boutique can now be replaced with apparel store Zenit.

The store of olympic sportswear Bosco Sport on Nevsky 54 was opened got in 2008. At the time the company representatives declared that the agreement was concluded for five years. However its has not passed even two years that the plans of the company changed and on the 26th of february the store on Nevsky got already closed. At the time there takes place inventarization and packing of unsold goods and dismounting of show windows.

PR services of the company told Fontanka that Bosco Sport will completely leave the building on the corner of Nevsky and Malaya Sadovaya by the first of march already. Based on Fontanka's information, there is a chance that it will not move far and will settle down in the Stroganovsky business centre on Nevsky 19.

Spaces of this business centre in the beginning of 2010 changed the owner. Former owner of the Stroganovsky sold it to the Moscow company Otkrytieye. Possibly the financial company decreased the rent rates in order to attract the tenants.

Bosco Sport started suffering from the lack of customers, like all other boutiques on Nevsky, last year. Already in the middle of 2009 the company started sales. Discounts, based on the advertising, reached 70%. However it looked like elite class costumes during the crisis were not particularly demanded even with large discounts.

According to Fontanka, Bosco place will not be empty for long. Our sources say that the space in front of the famous Eliseyevsky store can be occupied with Zenit store. At the moment the club has got only one sales outlet in the centre of Saint Petersburg - in Merchants yard. Zenit won't comment this information.
